Ideas for Blake Griffin at the NBA Slam Dunk Contest

Who doesn't like to see Blake posterizing his opponents?

Most of the great dunks and ideas have been played already. There’s been Dwight Howard in his Superman costume and short players showing their hops. Vinsanity and MJ. It’s all been done before. So I say, let’s change things up a bit. How about having Griffin posterize various NBA players and have the judges give scores based on that?

Here’s how it works. Fans get to vote online to pick the All Star that gets dunked on by Griffin. Imagine Griffin throwing one of his hard dunks down on Kobe while he just stands there. Awesome. But who else could Griffin dunk on? Here are the possibilities:

Lex Griffin is going to dunk on you Dwight!

1. LeBron: Of course. Who wouldn’t want to see Blake violently throwing one down on the King while he just stands under the basket and takes it? Then Griffin can just dunk it in his mouth. Just kidding. Somebody must have logged into my blog and wrote that last one.
2. Dwight Howard: Let Dwight wear his Superman costume with the cape. Maybe Griffin can dress up like Lex Luthor and dunk on Howard with a green basketball.
3. Carmelo Anthony: We can let Carmelo get dunked on wearing a Knicks jersey, then a Nets jersey, and then a Bulls jersey. Maybe Spike Lee can recreate Mars Blackmon while Griffin posterizes Melo in a Knicks jersey?
4. Charles Barkley: How about Blake sticking his knee in the middle of Chuck’s chest and throwing one down? Maybe Kenny Smith can be standing next to him with a fishing pole. You might have the next T-Mobile commercial.
   

   Time to end the curse

5. Bill Walton, Danny Manning, and Ron Harper: The former Clippers embody the entire curse of the franchise with all their foot and knee injuries and Blake throwing one down on them would symbolically exorcise the demons of Clippers past.
